The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board) ng Bataan had overwhelmingly endorsed the ordinance on no-contact apprehension program (NCAP).
Bataan Vice Governor Cris Garcia said the provincial board members fully understand the overall impact of the said ordinance in terms of safety, discipline and saving precious lives of motorists and pedestrians.
“Alam naman natin na ang ibang kababayan nating driver pag walang nakatingin na police o law enforcer ay nakakagawa sila ng paglabag sa batas,” said the presiding officer of SP.
She explained, however, that all ordinances that pass through the scrutiny of the provincial board are promptly given due imprimatur with no string attached.
Vice Governor Cris Garcia and Board Member Roman del Rosario were among those who graced the inauguration and launching of no-contact apprehension program at the 1Bataan Command Center in Orani last November 4.
